Kia The New K8 Reborn with Enhanced Power and Style

Kia announced on the 9th that it has unveiled the specifications and pricing for the new K8, and officially started taking orders.

This model, which marks the first product enhancement since its initial launch in April 2021, has been upgraded with more luxurious design elements and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to improve overall product quality.

The new K8 reflects Kia’s latest design identity, evolving both the exterior and interior to a more futuristic appearance. The front features the ‘Star Map Signature Lighting’ and a center positioning lamp with vertical elements, emphasizing the car’s width. The rear is refined with a new bumper design and chrome accents, creating a more sophisticated and premium image.

Inside, the K8 boasts upgraded materials to enhance its luxurious feel, with a focus on horizontal spaciousness and elegant forms. The interior also includes new features such as a wireless smartphone charging system, fingerprint recognition system, and a dual-door console armrest with heating and UV-C sterilization functions, all aimed at improving passenger convenience.

The K8 is equipped with various driving convenience features, including the ‘Preview Electronically Controlled Suspension’ and ‘Highway Body Motion Control,’ which ensure a stable driving experience. Additionally, the car comes with the newly added ‘Active Road Noise Control’ system, integrated with the Meridian premium sound system, providing a quieter driving environment.

Kia offers the K8 in six exterior colors and four interior colors, with the addition of a new ‘Signature Black’ trim. The price for the 2.5 gasoline model starts at 37.36 million KRW, while the hybrid model begins at 43.72 million KRW, before tax benefits for environmentally friendly vehicles.

Kia plans to deliver the gasoline and LPG models to customers later this month, with the hybrid models to be released sequentially as soon as they receive the necessary certifications from relevant authorities.
