Acura EV SUV Showcases Next-Generation Electric Design
Acura unveiled the Acura Performance EV SUV at the 2024 Monterey Car Week, marking the global debut of this groundbreaking vehicle.
The concept car, a performance-focused SUV developed by the Acura Design Studio, previews the next generation of Acura’s all-electric models.
Scheduled to enter production in late 2025, the new Acura model will be the first to be built on Honda’s newly developed EV platform and will be produced at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio.
This unveiling represents a significant milestone in Acura’s electrification strategy, showcasing the brand’s commitment to combining high performance with forward-thinking design.
The Acura Performance EV Concept features an aggressive front fascia and a sleek, coupe-like silhouette, with design elements reminiscent of the second-generation NSX.
Dave Marek, Acura’s Design Executive, stated, “The Acura Performance EV Concept explores new possibilities in Acura design, fully leveraging the design freedom offered by our next-generation EV platform.”
The Acura Performance EV Concept will be showcased at two major events during Monterey Car Week: “The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering” on August 16 and the prestigious “Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance” on August 18.
