Kakao Mobility Introduces ‘BRING’ Robot Delivery Service at Resort

Kakao Mobility announced on the 21st that it has partnered with Hoban Hotels & Resorts to introduce its robot delivery service ‘BRING’ at the Restree Resom Resort in Jecheon.

‘BRING,’ which was launched by Kakao Mobility in April, is a versatile robot delivery service that can operate in various spaces such as offices, hotels, hospitals, and residential complexes.

At the Restree Resom Resort, ‘BRING’ currently offers daytime beverage deliveries and nighttime guest amenity deliveries, with plans to expand the service to include simple meal deliveries in the future.

Guests can easily use the service by scanning a QR code provided in their rooms, accessing the order web, placing orders, and receiving their items when the robot arrives at their room by entering a provided password.

This service is powered by Kakao Mobility’s open API platform ‘BRING-ON,’ which allows hotels and resorts to seamlessly integrate robot delivery services into their existing apps or websites without the need for additional platform development.

Kakao Mobility aims to enhance the efficiency of robot services through this initiative, which allows robots to operate across all floors of the resort and perform multiple delivery functions simultaneously.

The company plans to secure various service scenarios across different sectors, solidifying its position as a leader in the robot service platform industry.
