Ventus S1 evo Z Meets Mercedes-AMG’s Stringent Standards

Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced on the 9th that it will supply its ultra-high-performance tire, the ‘Ventus S1 evo Z,’ as original equipment tires (OET) for the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé.

This marks the first partnership between Hankook Tire and Mercedes-AMG, highlighting the recognition of Hankook Tire’s advanced technology by a leading global high-performance sports car brand.

The ‘Ventus S1 evo Z’ is designed with the specific characteristics of high-performance sports cars in mind, featuring a custom sports pattern and modified compound that ensure optimal grip even in extreme driving conditions. Additionally, the tire’s wide tread design and aramid-reinforced belt provide stable handling and control at high speeds.

Hankook Tire conducted performance tests for this product at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a renowned circuit in Germany. Through these tests, the ‘Ventus S1 evo Z’ demonstrated exceptional performance, maintaining its integrity at speeds exceeding 305.77 km/h, thus meeting the stringent tire performance standards set by Mercedes-AMG.
